AH.. La Bella Umbria

Si5 Aww.... Umbria, What can I really say about such a magnificent place, full of peace, green, vineyards, they even have their own language, despite of italian, they speak umbrian :) good luck understanding a word though.

It is located right in the middle of Italy, and like it is full of nature soul, we could say it's Italy heart too.

My family used to lived in Umbria and the stories they told me made me wanna go there and never come back, I could get trap by the outstanding beauty that unfortunatly I have seen just in pictures and in my dreams.

Some day I will return to my rooths and I will continuing posting everything you are missing if you decide not to travel there.

Every road leads to Rome

Colosseo Despite of that old frase, I am not going to recommend driving in Rome, it could be a devastating experience for anyone, besides parking space is out of the question, you are never going to make it.

It is not that big, so it´s better and faster (due to the traffic jams) and don´t forget safer to walk throw the city, or use the public transportation but be carefull with your personal things in the crowd.
Once there you can´t miss the coliseum and the Pantheon.

The Tiber River runs through Rome. On the west side is the Trastevere neighborhood and the Vatican, home to the Sixtine Chapel,an eclectic museum collection, and the Pope. Other important sights include the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, countless churches, temples, fountains and obelisks, museums and art   galleries, and monuments. The choices are unlimited so you will need a good map and this year travel guide so you won´t miss a thing :)

Once in Rome.... ;)

Fall in love with Venece

61488768venece_24 Venece is sourrounded by canals, narrow streets and bridges, you will need a good map to explore this small but great city.

It is divided into six ancient districts called sestieri (Cannaregio, San Polo, Santa Croce, San Marco, Castello, and Dorsoduro).

Each one has its own unique character and is worth visiting.Three bridges cross Canal Grande (the Big Canal), the main waterway of Venice.

The most famous is the Rialto Bridge, a stone bridge with two rows of shops which connects San Polo and San Marco. Ponte Scalzi, located near the train station, connects Cannaregio with Santa Croce and Ponte Accademia connects San Marco with Dorsoduro.

There is more than water in Venece, The city of the masks, misteries to find out, old legends became reality, like an unreal place floating in the water.

Be sure to make your reservations in advance or you will end in a lousy Penzione (argh, fillty, fillty, sharing the room with roaches and rats.... NOT KIDDING), unless of course you don´t mind that :).

The trip is not over untill the fat lady sings =)
