Piazza San Marco

Basilica_san_marco_from_piazza_san_marco The Piazza San Marco is a fascinating place in venece. The architecture and history of the area is just amazing. In the relatively small area there are so many things to see and do and experience. Be sure to visit the Doge's Palace and the prison including the Bridge of Sighs. Do not hurry through. Take the time to experience it.
